Mawazo Luchagula has joined Goldstone Consulting’s Tanzania team as Lead, Business Development and Transaction Advisory. Mawazo brings a wealth of experience in the banking and investment sectors, with a career spanning key roles in relationship management, portfolio growth, and credit management. Most recently, he served as Investment Manager at SME Impact Fund in Arusha, where he successfully led initiatives to drive SME growth and enhance financial inclusion.
With over a decade of experience, Mawazo has consistently demonstrated his ability to cultivate strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and implement strategic initiatives that drive profitability and sustainability.
In his role at Goldstone, Mawazo focuses on advancing the firm’s agenda in Tanzania, with a particular emphasis on the Food, Water, and Energy Nexus. He will play a pivotal role in delivering business development and transaction advisory services, supporting enterprises and projects that align with Goldstone’s mission of driving sustainable growth and impact.
Mawazo’s deep understanding of the Tanzanian market, coupled with his expertise in structuring deals and managing stakeholder relationships, will be invaluable in expanding Goldstone’s footprint in Tanzania
